Ray is an innovation consultant specializing in participatory design, urban resilience, and community adaptation to climate change. She holds a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley, where she researched the integration of sea level rise science into planning and decision-making across administrative scales. As a Project Advisor with the Day One Project, she facilitated multi-disciplinary workshops that democratized the policy-making process and co-authored policy papers on regenerative agriculture and soil health. While working with the Innovation Unit at the UNDP, she developed multinational programs that helped unpack and understand complex systems and evolved a culture of experimentation in international development. Her work, research, and writing reflect her multidisciplinary approach and embrace the complexity that is critical to realizing our planetary potential to thrive.
